I'm a graduate student in Library and Information Science. I can't decide which I like better, books or computers, so this program seemed the best place for me. I also write, somewhat haphazardly -- used to write constantly, and have had a short story professionally published...but then somewhere along the line my writing dropped down the list of my priorities. Lately, I'm trying to reverse that trend. Since I started this LJ, I've been slowly but surely increasing the amount of time I spend on writing of all sorts, and increasing my involvement with the writing community (both on LJ and in other areas, mostly online). I use this journal mostly to blabber on about the things in my life, sometimes to complain, sometimes to post bits and pieces of writing (hopefully more of that as time goes on), and generally just share with the world at large the things going through my head in a more socially acceptable manner than jabbering aloud on the public bus :o)
